Dr. Cochran is an esteemed board-certified family medicine practitioner and founder of Evangelion Medical. He graduated with his Doctor of Medicine from the Texas Tech University School of Medicine in 1999. Dr. Cochran completed his residency in family medicine at the Texas Tech Health Science Center, and he is currently studying for his master’s degree in Christian ministry and theology at Abilene Christian University. Dr. Cochran always knew he wanted to be a doctor, and, as his career blossomed, he made certain his practice focused on preventive care. Dr. Cochran wants his patients to feel better than ever. He hopes all his patients know that they are capable of achieving great things. In his free time, Dr. Cochran enjoys spending time with his wife and five children. He has coached over 40 seasons of youth soccer. He is a drummer for his church’s praise band and has run the New York Marathon three times. He enjoys basketball, soccer, billiards, Ford Mustangs, and all things Star Wars.

Kara Cochran was Valedictorian of her high school class and upon graduation attended Texas Tech University. There she pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Management and graduating Summa Cum Laude. While in college, Kara worked in a medical clinic and rapidly worked her way up to Chief Financial Officer at the age of 20 and then advanced to the Medical Practice Manager upon graduating from college. A few years later, Kara furthered her experience in the healthcare industry as she went to work for Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals. In 2014, Kara returned back into the healthcare management sector to work alongside her husband, Dr. Cochran. Her efforts have been instrumental in advancing Evangelion Medical. As the Practice Manager, Kara spends her days solving problems, interacting with patients, doing all things financial, and investing in the lives of her staff. Kara prides herself on being a faithful mother who is also successful in the business world. Kara enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and traveling the world.

Kristin Groves has been a dedicated registered nurse for over 20 wonderful years! Throughout her journey, she has explored many exciting areas of nursing, from the fast-paced Neonatal Intensive Care to the personal touch of Home Health and even Marketing. However, her true passion lies in Family Medicine. Since joining Evangelion in 2018, she has taken a special interest in learning from Dr. Cochran, and after many fulfilling years as his nurse, she proudly earned her MSN in Family Nurse Practitioner studies. Now, she is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, making a real difference in her patients' lives.  She enjoys researching and learning more about hormones and how she can better her patient’s daily lives.  Kristin is happily married and has six kids. While her work and family keep her on her toes, she loves to travel, especially to charming Texas towns and beautiful beach destinations whenever she gets the chance!

Elizabeth Vitulli is excited to share that she completed her MSN in Family Nurse Practitioner studies at Texas Tech in 2024! Before she joined the wonderful team at Evangelion Medical, Elizabeth gained invaluable experience as an RN in both the emergency department and the NICU. Her heartfelt passion for helping others during their most critical and vulnerable moments truly inspired her to enter the medical field. Elizabeth is committed to meeting her patients exactly where they are and walking alongside them as they pursue their wellness goals and tackle challenges together. When she's not providing exceptional care, Elizabeth loves being a wife and a mom to her two energetic young boys, who certainly keep her on her toes! She enjoys cooking and warmly welcoming family and friends into her home, creating joyful gatherings filled with laughter and connection. 

Angie Becerra brought her warmth and dedication to the Evangelion Medical team in 2018, quickly becoming an integral part of our everyday operations. Originally from New Mexico, Angie made Midland her home over sixteen years ago, seamlessly continuing her journey in the medical field. As a proud mom of two amazing adults and a cherished “damma” to three wonderful grandchildren, family is at the heart of her life. When she’s not busy at work, Angie loves to spend quality time with her family and dive into her crafting projects. Her choice to pursue a career in medicine goes beyond just a job; it’s a heartfelt calling. Angie genuinely seeks to make a positive impact in the lives of her patients, and her passion for this mission is truly inspiring.

Stephanie Reyes rejoined the Evangelion Medical team in June 2024! With a solid ten years of experience as a registered nurse, she spent three years as Doctor Cochran’s trusted nurse before switching to inpatient rehabilitation and finally back to Evangelion Medical.   Stephanie shares her life with her beloved spouse and is a proud mom of four, plus a joyful grandmother to one granddaughter! In her downtime, she loves to immerse herself in books, express her thoughts through writing, and explore new places, particularly the soothing shores of the beach. Stephanie's passion for working in the medical field shines through her dedication to providing compassionate care, ensuring her patients feel their absolute best. To further her mission of helping even more patients, she is continuing her education journey to become a Nurse Practitioner! 

Cami Davis, a certified medical assistant, joined our Evangelion family in February 2024. She’s the friendly face at our check-in window, showering our patients with her warm, caring nature. With 8 years of experience in neurology in Midland and Katy, Cami brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion. As a proud mother of three and a grandmother to one little bundle of joy, who she lovingly calls her “sunshine,” her family means the world to her. When she's not working, Cami loves traveling, crafting, watching movies, and immersing herself in audiobooks. Her heartfelt passion for caring for others and spreading joy perfectly aligns with the values we cherish in our team. 

Andrea Valencia is not just a certified pharmacy technician and medical assistant; she’s a wonderful part of our front office team at Evangelion Medical! With her background in psychology and substance abuse, she truly shows her commitment to helping others. As a busy mom of two energetic sons, she has her hands full! When she's not at work or spending time with her family, you can often find her enjoying her favorite hobbies—gardening, baking, and hiking. Andrea's dedication to making a positive impact every day is simply inspiring!

Since 2019, Lisa Cano has proudly served as a certified medical assistant and became a valued member of the Evangelion Medical team in July 2024. With extensive experience in audiology and nephrology, she’s ready to make a difference in people’s lives. Lisa's heart is filled with love for her family, especially her three boys and her father, who are truly the center of her universe. She is fortunate to have a supportive and loving partner by her side, sharing this beautiful journey together. In her leisure time, Lisa loves engaging in activities that keep her both physically and mentally fit, like going to the gym, running, lifting weights, cleaning, and indulging in her passion for baking. What truly drives Lisa in the medical field is the joy she feels from knowing she can positively impact someone's well-being, even with just a few kind words and a warm smile. 

Lyn Vargas, a certified medical assistant, has been a cherished member of the Evangelion Medical team since July 2024. Her journey in the medical field started at the young age of 16, and now she brings a wealth of experience in internal medicine and women’s health to her role. Lyn's dedication to her family and faith is truly admirable, and she loves spending time with her furry friends, including her dogs, cats, and rabbits. In her free time, Lyn finds joy in building with Legos, playing tennis, and skateboarding. Her curiosity about the human body inspired her to enter the medical field, but she quickly discovered that it's about so much more—it's the wonderful opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

Mitchell is Evangelion's mental and behavioral health consultant. He also helps Kara out as an administrative assistant. He has a master's degree in pastoral counseling and is currently working on his doctorate in theology. He carries credentials in Christian counseling and family life education. He is passionate about integrating physical, mental, and spiritual health.
